Blaze Audio PowerZone Connect 6008 6000 W 8-Channel Install Amplifier

The PowerZone Connect 6008 is the largest amplifier in the Blaze install range: eight channels, 6000 watts of total system power, in a 2U chassis 16.3 inches deep that weighs 25.6 pounds. Single-ended it produces 8 x 750 W into 2 or 4 ohms and 8 x 400 W into 8 ohms; bridged it produces 4 x 1500 W into 4 or 8 ohms, 4 x 1200 W at 70V, or 4 x 1500 W at 100V. It is designed for large multi-zone systems where a rack of separate amplifiers would otherwise be needed.

All eight outputs are configured through the PowerZone Control web application hosted on the amplifier, with a full input-to-output matrix, so zones can be combined, split, and processed without extra hardware. Pascal UMAC Class-D output stages and a universal UREC supply with power factor correction keep the current draw and heat load reasonable for the output. S/PDIF I/O and configurable GPIO handle integration, and the unit is ErP and Energy Star compliant and UL listed. The 6008D adds Dante.
