A compact 1 x 2 splitter for UHD signals: one HDMI source duplicated to two displays at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160, with lossless reproduction of the high-resolution signal and HDCP and 3D support intact.

EDID handling is the part that keeps it out of trouble - the splitter reads and copies EDID automatically from the connected screen, or a user can copy the audio and video EDID information manually when the source needs to be held to a particular mode. It works with the Black Box VCL-HDMIL locking HDMI cables where a secure physical connection matters.
