BirdDog Upright/Ceiling Mounting Base for A300 (BD-A300-MB)
This is the plate that actually holds an A300 to a structure. It is a cast alloy ring with four slotted outer holes for the lag bolts or through-bolts and four inner fixing points that take the camera itself, and it works either way up: sat on a platform or truss deck with the head upright, or bolted to a soffit with the camera inverted.
The slots give a little rotational adjustment so the camera can be aimed roughly on-axis before anything is torqued down, and the large keyholed opening in the centre passes the Ethernet and 24V runs straight up behind the camera rather than looping around the outside. The white finish matches the A300 body, which keeps a fixed install looking deliberate rather than improvised. BirdDog part number BD-A300-MB.
