BirdDog A300 Ceiling Mounting Kit (BD-A300-CM)

Hanging a weatherproof 30x PTZ head from a ceiling is a load-bearing job, and this is the kit BirdDog builds for it. Three machined parts do the work: a flanged plate that bolts to the structure, a collar that drops into the plate on an interlocking latch and then screws home, and a wide base plate that carries the A300 itself. The latch takes the weight while you get the screws in, so one installer on a ladder is not fighting the camera and the fixings at the same time.

The whole assembly is hollow through the middle, so the network run and the 24V feed pass up inside the column and out of sight. Accessible screw positions mean the camera can be dropped and re-hung for service without pulling the ceiling plate. It suits the height and sightlines of arenas, stadiums, large theatres, houses of worship and TV sets, where a ceiling position covers more of the room than any wall bracket can.
