Foamtak is the fastest way to get Auralex acoustic foam onto a wall. It carries a higher solids content than general-purpose spray adhesives and lays down in a pattern designed for open-cell foam, which is what keeps the bond from drying out and letting panels drop months later. Auralex guarantees it will not oxidize their foam, the failure mode that eats panels mounted with the wrong glue.

This is a wall product, not a ceiling one: gravity works against a sprayed bond overhead, and Tubetak Pro is the adhesive for that job. One can covers up to 96 sq ft or more depending on foam thickness. The formula is now 50-state VOC compliant, which lengthens the tack time slightly, so let the sprayed surface become tacky before setting the panel. Cans cannot travel by air.
