Auralex GRAMMA v2 Amp Isolation Platform

GRAMMA stands for Gig and Recording, Amp and Monitor, Modulation Attenuator, and it does one job: it stops an amp or loudspeaker cabinet from coupling its own resonance into the stage or the floor below it. An Ozite fabric-covered structural layer floats on a 1 in pad of Auralex Platfoam, decoupling the cabinet from whatever it is sitting on.

The payoff is a tighter, more focused low end and a more accurate read on the amp's real tone, useful both for a clean recording take and for keeping a stage monitor from smearing into the floor. It is rated to carry up to 300 lbs.
