Generic spray adhesives can oxidize acoustic foam over time, softening it and shortening the life of a treatment install; Foamtak is formulated specifically not to. It carries a higher solids content than competing sprays and a spray pattern built for durable, even coverage, with a nozzle setting for the foam side and a separate setting for the wall side of the bond.

One can covers up to 96 sq ft or more depending on foam thickness, and this listing is the case of 12, sized for treating a full room or stocking an install team rather than buying single cans one at a time. It is a wall-mount adhesive only, not rated for ceiling installs, and is not air-shippable.
