The MG Series is a professional gooseneck microphone system built around sophisticated dual-preamp circuitry - one stage in the capsule housing and a second at the base of the XLR. The internally balanced path isolates the audio from hum and noise and shields it from RF interference and spurious emissions from cell phones and wireless GSM devices, so it stays quiet even in dense installations.
