Audix OM11 Dynamic Vocal Microphone
The OM11 is a dynamic vocal microphone first issued as the OM1 in 1985, and it still carries the sharp, crisp vocal sound and resistance to feedback that made the line an Audix mainstay. It handles high SPLs without distortion, and its tailored response cuts through a loud stage mix rather than getting buried.
A tight, uniformly controlled hypercardioid pattern isolates the vocal from monitor bleed and neighboring instruments, and the tailored midrange gives extra presence and articulation even at high stage volume. Handling noise is extremely low, and the mic is well balanced and comfortable to hold through a long set. Designed, machined, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA.
