Audix MicroD Miniature Dynamic Drum Microphone

The MicroD is a compact drum and percussion microphone for professional stage and studio use. Its uniformly controlled hypercardioid pattern isolates the drum and delivers a smooth, accurate response, while the small aluminum-ring body tucks in close where a full-size mic will not fit.

The capsule is isolated by a rubber shock-mount system to keep mechanical noise out of the signal, and the mic attaches firmly to a standard drum rim using the patented DVICE rim-mount system - no extra stands to crowd the kit. Lightweight and simple to position, it is designed, machined, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA.
