Audix F9 Fusion Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone
The F9 is a Fusion-series pencil condenser aimed at instruments that need air and detail - drum overheads, cymbals, acoustic guitar, and ambient room miking. Its pre-polarized gold vapor deposition element captures a natural high end, and the uniform cardioid pattern picks up the instrument while rejecting spill from the rest of the stage.
The slim body fits tight overhead and stand positions, and it runs on standard phantom power. With a maximum SPL of 137 dB it takes loud cymbal work in stride, and its low cost makes stereo overhead pairs affordable. A practical small condenser for players building out a kit-miking or acoustic setup.
