Audix FireBall V Dynamic Instrument Microphone with Volume Control
The FireBall V is the harmonica and beatbox version of the FireBall with one key addition: an onboard volume control knob, so a player can ride level right at the mic without reaching an amp or board. It keeps the cardioid pattern for isolation and feedback control and the VLM diaphragm for natural sound with excellent transient response, across a wide 50 Hz to 16 kHz range.
It is lightweight, compact, and comfortable to cup the way harp technique demands. Because it is a low-impedance mic, a quality low-to-high impedance transformer (such as the T50k) is required when using it with a guitar amplifier. Designed, assembled, and tested by Audix in the USA.
