Audio-Technica PRO25AX

The PRO 25ax is a hypercardioid dynamic instrument microphone built for kick drum, percussion, brass, and other high-SPL sources. Its dynamic capsule handles big transients and high levels cleanly, where a condenser might overload. The hypercardioid pattern tightens the pickup to isolate one source in a loud backline and reject bleed.

A rugged, low-profile body fits into tight spaces inside a kick or around a drum kit. It is voiced to bring out the weight and attack that percussion and low brass need in a mix. It connects over a standard 3-pin XLR output, needs no phantom power, and ships with the AT8471 clamp for easy positioning.
