Anchor Audio COM60FC C
The COM-60FC/C is the six-user PortaCom package with the cable already in the box. PortaCom is Anchor Audio's two-channel wired party-line intercom: crew talkback carried on ordinary 3-pin XLR microphone cable, with no RF to coordinate and nothing to drop out mid-show. A PC-2000 power console has four XLR outputs, and a B3-2000 branch box splits one of them one-in, three-out to reach the fifth and sixth belt pack. Each BP-2000 gives its user an A/B channel switch, a call button, a microphone on/off button and its own headset volume, so a director on channel A and a camera crew on channel B work the same cable run without stepping on each other.
Seven 50-foot EX-50M cables ship with the package - six belt-pack runs plus the feed to the branch box - so a six-position crew is wired the day it arrives. The console puts 22 VDC on the line at up to 400 mA, enough to run as many as 20 belt packs, and additional B3-2000 branch boxes take the system out to 50 headsets. Each pack takes a 4-pin XLR headset; specify six H-2000 dual-muff or H-2000S single-muff sets when you order. Everything travels in a sturdy cardboard carrying case.
