AKG DMS300 Digital Wireless Microphone System
The DMS300 is the eight-channel version of AKG's license-free 2.4 GHz digital wireless platform, for houses of worship, corporate rooms and stages that need more than one or two channels without an RF coordination exercise. Audio is 24-bit/48 kHz uncompressed with 1.9 ms latency on a single receiver, rising only to 2.2 ms with eight receivers synchronized, so a performer on in-ears does not feel the system.
Adaptive channel selection keeps the link clear of Wi-Fi, diversity runs on antenna, time and frequency together, and AES 256-bit encryption protects a confidential feed. The Vocal Set ships the HT300 handheld with a fixed P5 head on a pneumatic shock mount; the Instrumental Set ships the compact PT300 beltpack, which is instrument-ready and also accepts AKG headsets and clip-on microphones sold separately. Both run up to 12 hours on two AA cells, and an optional kit racks the receiver.
