Aida Imaging AIDA CS-8.0F 8mm Fixed Focal 5 Megapixel CS Mount Lens

The CS-8.0F is the middle angle in AIDA's fixed CS-mount lens set: 8mm, rated to resolve 5 megapixels, and matched to the same 1.3 to 5MP block cameras the 6mm and 12mm serve. AIDA publishes the coverage rather than leaving you to work it out, at 45 degrees horizontal on a 1/2.5-inch sensor and 36.6 degrees on a 1/3-inch sensor, so you can pick the angle from a room drawing before the camera ships.

That makes it the natural choice when a wide lens puts too much empty room in frame and a 12mm crops the talent's shoulders. Iris is fixed and focus is manual, set once at commissioning, which is what you want on a camera that will sit on a ceiling mount untouched for years.
