Aida Imaging AIDA CS-6.0F 6mm Fixed Focal Megapixel CS Mount Lens

The CS-6.0F is AIDA's fixed 6mm CS-mount lens, matched to the HD block cameras in the POV line and tuned so the glass keeps up with a 1.3 to 5 megapixel sensor rather than softening in the corners. Six millimetres on a 1/2.5-inch format is a moderately wide view: enough to take in a lectern and the screen behind it, or a full drum kit from a few feet away, without the barrel distortion of a true fisheye.

The iris is fixed, so there is nothing to drift once the camera is bolted in place, and focus is set on the barrel and left alone. That is the point of a fixed-focal lens in a permanent install, and it is why AIDA sells this one alongside the CS-8.0F and CS-12.0F as a three-step set of angles for the same camera body.
