Allen & Heath DX88-P Remote Expander

The DX88-P is a compact remote I/O expander for AHM, SQ, Avantis, and dLive systems, adding 8 mic/line inputs and 8 line outputs on block connectors wherever a rig needs them. Every input has switched phantom power and a -20dB pad, with gain adjustable from +5 to +60dB and a maximum input level of +30dBu when padded, so it handles everything from a condenser vocal mic to a hot line-level feed.

A single Cat5e cable carries all 16 channels back to the mixer over runs up to 220 feet, keeping cable count down on stage or in a rack room. Outputs reach +21dBu maximum level for driving amps or monitor sends directly, and the unit runs on 12VDC at 3.3A (39.6W), fitting into a rack or stage box footprint at just 8.5 x 7.7 x 1.7 inches and 3.33 lb.
