Allen & Heath DX Series 96kHz I/O Expander

The DX range is how an Allen & Heath digital system gets its I/O where the sources actually are. Every unit runs at 96 kHz and connects over SLink, the same port found on Qu, SQ, Avantis, dLive, and AHM, so one Cat5e run replaces a multicore. Setup is plug and play, and transport latency is 8 samples, low enough that a remote box behaves like local I/O.

The range covers different shapes of problem. DX012 is twelve outputs for an amplifier room. DX168 is the standard 16-in, 8-out stage box. DX164-W is the wall-mount version with 16 in and 4 out for a fixed install where the box lives behind a plate. DX32 is the modular frame that takes option cards when the channel mix does not match a fixed box. DX Hub sits between them, fanning a single DX link out to multiple expanders. A dLive MixRack takes up to 28 DX expanders through DX Hub modules or DX Link cards.
