Allen & Heath CQ-12T Digital Mixer
The CQ-12T is the smallest mixer in Allen & Heath's CQ range, a 12-in / 8-out digital console that carries the company's 96kHz FPGA processing into a footprint small enough for a coffeehouse stage, a portable PA, or a house of worship side room. A 7-inch capacitive touchscreen paired with a single assignable rotary control drives the whole interface, and 3 custom SoftKeys put frequent tasks a tap away. Two multi-FX engines handle reverb, delay, and modulation without eating into the channel count.
Recording and playback are built in rather than bolted on. A 16x16 USB-B interface streams multitrack audio to a computer at 48 or 96kHz, a 16x16 SD slot records and plays back at the same rates, and dedicated input channels handle stereo USB and stereo Bluetooth playback for backing tracks or break music. A dual footswitch connection adds hands-free control for tap tempo or scene changes.
