Whirlwind PRESSMITE Active Press Box Battery Capable Active Press Box

The PRESSMITE is the portable end of the press box line. One mic or line input with 60 dB of gain adjustment feeds a bank of press outputs, and a built-in headphone amp lets the operator hear what the feed sounds like. Two alkaline 9 V batteries typically give more than eight hours of continuous running with a Battery OK LED to watch, the trays are side mounted for quick changes, and a 120 VAC to 24 VDC adapter is supplied.

In MIC mode 18 V phantom power is selectable and a three segment LED headroom display speeds up setting the gain. If the event outgrows the box, PB Series press boxes connect to the line outputs to add up to 48 more mic outputs. The enclosure is built for the handling a public event gives it.
