Vinten VBFT VB-FTMS

VB-FTMS is the Vinten Vision blue head on flowtech75 carbon legs with a mid-level spreader. The head is built around a problem most fluid heads duck: a small, lightly accessorised camera sits low, and its center of gravity lands around 55 mm above the plate, where a head designed for a shouldered rig cannot balance it. Vision blue's Perfect Balance counterbalance is tuned for exactly that, holding 2.1 to 5 kg through the full ±90 degree tilt without the camera falling away at the ends of the move.

Drag comes from Vinten's calibrated LF fluid system, infinitely adjustable rather than stepped, so a slow reveal and a fast whip both come from the same head. The Vision AS long-slot sliding plate takes a 1/4 in screw and pin, and a high-contrast blue LED bubble lights the level. The head weighs 2.4 kg with pan bar, plate, and bowl clamp fitted. Underneath, flowtech75 legs open from single top-mounted flip-locks at standing height and carry 20 kg.
