Vinten 3466-3 Vision 100 Pan and Tilt Head

The Vision 100 is Vinten's 100 mm ENG and outside broadcast head for camera builds between 7 and 20 kg. Its Thin Film drag holds a whip pan clean at temperatures from minus 40 to plus 60 degrees C, which is the range that separates a broadcast head from a location one, and Perfect Balance counterbalance is infinitely adjustable across the whole payload window.

What makes it fast on a shoot is the digital counterbalance readout: note the number for a camera build and it is dialled back exactly on the next job, in any light, with the drag controls illuminated and calibrated. A high-contrast amber levelling bubble covers the set-up. Head weight is 3.2 kg, tilt is plus or minus 90 degrees, the camera plate is a two-way sliding type, and the head ships with the plate, two 3/8 in camera screws, the 3219-91 telescopic pan bar and a bowl clamp knob.
