Vinten 08349 Studio Pedestal / Tripod Adaptor

The 08349 is the studio pedestal interface in Vinten's PTZ mounting range. It works with the PTZ mount plates, giving a plate that would otherwise land on a tripod bowl a home on a studio pedestal instead. That is the piece most PTZ installs are missing when a camera has to move on a pedestal rather than sit on legs.

It is a machined adaptor, 0.7 kg, with no adjustment to set and nothing to power. Mount the plate to the adaptor, drop the adaptor onto the pedestal, and the PTZ head and any prompter riding with it are carried by the pedestal column. Vinten ships the same part inside the PTZ-OL Osprey Lite package, so a pedestal already built that way takes the same interface.
