Vaxis Atom 600 KV Wireless Transmitter for RED KOMODO
This is the transmitter on its own from the Vaxis Atom 600 KV system, for a crew that already owns a Vaxis receiver and needs a second KOMODO rig on the air. The back plate is cut specifically for the RED KOMODO: it carries a V-Mount battery, passes power through to the camera, and can be set horizontally or vertically so the battery sits where the operator wants it rather than where the mount dictates.
One SDI input feeds the radio, and SDI and HDMI loop outputs carry the same picture onward through a built-in converter, so an on-board monitor can hang off the transmitter without a separate cross-converter. It sends 1080p60 or 1080i60 up to 600 feet line-of-sight at under 80 ms latency, and up to three phones or tablets can pull the feed over Wi-Fi with the Vaxis Vision app. A side OLED screen shows channel, voltage and temperature, the cooling fan can be throttled or silenced for quiet takes, and the USB-C port handles firmware updates and 5V/2A accessory power.
