Vaxis Atom 500 SDI Basic Wireless Video Transmitter/Receiver Kit

The Atom 500 SDI Basic is a wireless video kit that pairs a transmitter and receiver over a 500-foot line-of-sight link, accepting both 3G-SDI and HDMI on the transmitter side and mirroring both connector types on the receiver, so it drops into an SDI cinema camera rig or an HDMI mirrorless setup without an adapter. Vaxis's H.265 encoding keeps the image visually lossless at 1080p while holding latency under 80 milliseconds, low enough for a focus puller or director to work off the receiver's feed in real time.

Both transmitter and receiver run on USB-C power or an L-series battery, with an OLED display and an adjustable cooling fan (switchable off for quiet interiors) on each unit. Wi-Fi multicast lets up to three iOS devices monitor alongside the primary receiver, so a client or script supervisor can watch the same feed on a phone or tablet without adding a second RX.
