Vaddio DocCAM 20 HDBT In-Ceiling Document Camera
The DocCAM 20 HDBT is a high-definition document camera that mounts recessed into a ceiling rather than sitting on a desk, so a classroom or boardroom sees only a small trim ring overhead instead of an arm and base taking up table space. A 1/2.8-type Exmor CMOS sensor delivers Full HD 1080p/60 video, and a 20x optical zoom lets a presenter fill the frame with a printed page, a specimen, or a piece of hardware on the table below. The horizontal field of view runs from about 60 degrees at the wide end down to 3.3 degrees zoomed all the way in.
The camera uses a OneLINK/HDBaseT connection with PoE-plus power, so a single Cat cable to a Vaddio OneLINK interface carries power, video, and control to the rack. It has no physical switches; setup runs through the browser-based web interface, and everyday control comes from the included IR remote. In the box are the DocCAM 20 HDBT camera, a white trim ring with two mounting screws, a tile support brace, the Vaddio IR remote commander, and an installation guide.
