Tightrope Cablecast CBL-CG330-SVR Channel Branding Server

The CBL-CG330-SVR is the server-class Cablecast CG330, a Carousel Player built for broadcast applications. It generates the on-air bulletin board and channel branding for a Cablecast channel: community announcements, weather, RSS and social feeds laid out with a station bug, bug text and a scrolling crawl over background and foreground graphics. Carousel requires one CG330 for each channel of bulletin board a station runs.

The unit is a 1RU appliance running the Carousel Player for Broadcast on Windows 7 Professional, with a 500GB system drive. It plays MPEG-2, QuickTime, AVI, DV, WMV and Adobe Flash content and can feed a channel over SD/HD-SDI with embedded audio, component or composite, plus DVI, DisplayPort, HDMI and VGA graphics outputs. An optional video input card lets it key over live sources.
