Tightrope Cablecast CBL-CG330-SDI Channel Branding Server

The Cablecast CG330 SDI is the character-generator and channel-branding server for a Cablecast PEG or municipal channel. It drives on-air graphics, including full-screen community bulletin boards, crawls, bugs and branded frames, and sends them out over SDI with embedded audio, so it fits a station built around an SDI plant.

Running Cablecast CG Bulletin Board software, it ties directly into the Cablecast schedule to generate messages such as "Coming Up Next", "See It Again" and "You Were Just Watching" between shows, and it can post daily or weekly program schedules alongside community messages, weather forecasts, traffic cameras and social feeds. Because the graphics read the same schedule that drives playout, the board updates itself as programming shifts through the day.
