Cablecast CBL-VIO4PLUS-800 Video Server - 10TB RAID5

Cablecast VIO 4 Plus is the top of the VIO video-server line, a multi-format automation and playout server built for stations that run several channels and record at the same time. It provides six SDI interfaces that can be configured as four outputs with two recording channels, or as three inputs and three outputs, so a facility can play out and ingest without adding external gear.

The server carries 10TB of internal RAID5 storage, expandable up to 40TB, with redundant power for around-the-clock operation. It plays and records multiple formats with no transcoding and can up- or down-convert between SD and HD on the fly, and it ingests live H.264 RTP, RTMP and HLS streams over IP without consuming an SDI port. Cablecast automation software for scheduling, channel branding and content management is included.
