Tascam Series 208i 20-In/8-Out USB Audio and MIDI Interface

The Series 208i is the large member of the Series family: twenty inputs and eight outputs, combining XLR mic preamps, balanced TRS line I/O, MIDI, and optical ports that add ADAT channels. Sampling reaches 192 kHz at 24-bit with S/MUX support on the optical inputs.

Balanced 1/4 inch TRS outputs feed monitors and outboard, and the interface connects to the computer on a USB B port. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz within +0/-0.4 dB at 44.1 and 48 kHz. Internal mixing and effects processing keep monitoring independent of the DAW buffer, which matters when overdubbing at low latency.
