Shure WL185 Cardioid Lavalier Microphone
The WL185 is a cardioid condenser lavalier microphone for speech, worn on a Shure wireless bodypack transmitter. Its cardioid pattern with a roughly 130-degree pickup angle rejects off-axis sound to hold down background noise and lift gain-before-feedback, making it a dependable choice for presenters, worship, and theater. CommShield Technology guards the signal against interference from cellular phones and digital bodypack transmitters.
The mic terminates in a 1.2 m (4 ft) cable with a 4-pin mini (TA4F) connector that plugs directly into a Shure bodypack. The included tie clip rotates in 90-degree steps for placement flexibility, and a supplied dual tie clip holds two microphones for redundant, dual-mic setups. It ships with a snap-fit foam windscreen, a single tie clip, the dual tie clip, and a storage bag.
