Shure SLXD2 K8B
The SLXD2/K8B is a handheld wireless transmitter fitted with Shure's black KSM8 Dualdyne cartridge, the flagship dynamic vocal capsule that uses two diaphragms and an inverted airflow system to all but erase proximity effect. The result is a natural, condenser-like clarity from a road-ready dynamic, with a consistent cardioid pattern that keeps off-axis sound and monitor bleed out of the mix. It is the choice when a lead vocal deserves studio detail on a live stage.
Running on the SLX-D digital platform, the transmitter delivers transparent 24-bit audio over a stable, predictive-switching RF link that supports up to 32 compatible channels in a 44 MHz band. Transmitter and receiver pair in seconds over IR scan and sync, and two AA batteries give up to eight hours of runtime, with the optional SB903 lithium-ion battery adding hours-and-minutes metering and health tracking. Rugged all-metal construction stands up to nightly use.
