Shure SLXD14

The SLXD14 is Shure's SLX-D wireless guitar and bass system, built around the SLXD1 bodypack transmitter, the WA305 locking-thread instrument cable, and the SLXD4 half-rack receiver. It frees a player from the cable to the amp while carrying transparent 24-bit digital audio with 118 dB of dynamic range, so the wireless link stays as clean and dynamic as a wired run. Digital predictive switching diversity and efficient RF keep the signal locked in through a busy stage.

Setup is scan-and-sync: the SLXD4 finds an open frequency and deploys it to the transmitter over IR, with up to 10 compatible systems in a 6 MHz TV band. The SLXD1 runs up to 8 hours on two AA cells, or moves to the optional SB903 rechargeable battery for runtime readout in hours and minutes. The system ships with the WA305 cable, two AA batteries, two 1/4-wave antennas, two bulkhead adapters, two BNC cables, power supply, rack hardware, and a zippered bag, and is offered in the G58, H55, and J52 frequency bands.
