Sennheiser XSW 1-908 Wireless Instrument Microphone System
The XSW 1-908 is an all-in-one UHF wireless rig built to free a horn player from a mic cable. The e 908 T cardioid condenser gooseneck clips to the bell of a trumpet, sax, or other brass and woodwind instrument, staying trained on the sound source while the player moves. It pairs with a compact SK XSW bodypack and a stationary EM XSW 1 receiver, so the whole system is a set-and-play package rather than a rack of separates.
Setup stays quick: press sync and the transmitter and receiver find a clean frequency over a remote channel automatically, choosing from selectable UHF frequencies and up to 10 compatible channels. Antenna-switching diversity with integrated antennas guards against dropouts, and the bodypack runs about 10 hours on a charge of playing time. The set ships with the EM XSW 1 receiver, the SK XSW bodypack transmitter, the e 908 T gooseneck microphone, and an NT 12-5 CW power supply.
