Sennheiser MKE2-3-C Gold 2-R Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone
The Sennheiser MKE 2-3-C Gold 2-R is the reduced-sensitivity build of the MKE 2 Gold subminiature omnidirectional lavalier, wired to plug into Shure and Telex bodypack transmitters. Dropping the sensitivity to 5 mV/Pa lets the same capsule sit close to loud sources, on-stage vocalists and brass players, without overloading the transmitter input. The umbrella diaphragm at the heart of the capsule is a moisture-resistant, dual-layer element that keeps working through sweat and stage heat.
The omnidirectional pattern picks up evenly from all sides, so the talent can turn freely, and the capsule covers a full 20 to 20,000 Hz. This version ships in beige to blend against skin and clothing and comes as the bare microphone with no added accessories.
