Sennheiser HSP2-5 Headworn Microphone

The HSP 2-5 is Sennheiser's HSP 2 headworn condenser wired with bare pigtails and no connector, so an integrator can terminate it for whatever bodypack or system a rig uses. The permanently polarized MKE platinum capsule sits at the end of a slim, twist-proof boom and reads an omnidirectional pattern, keeping a presenter or performer even in level while both hands stay free. At roughly three ounces the whole assembly all but disappears in use, and the black finish keeps it discreet on darker backgrounds and against dark hair.

The capsule spans a full 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and tolerates up to 150 dB before overload, so it stays clean across loud stages, theater, and houses of worship. Threaded caps adjust the presence region to match the voice or room, and the connection cable is interchangeable. It ships with the boom microphone, neckband, connection cable, frequency-response caps, a foam-lined plastic transport case, and operating instructions.
