Sennheiser e908D Gooseneck Drum Microphone
The e908 D is a pre-polarized condenser instrument microphone on a flexible gooseneck, built to clip onto a drum rim or percussion and aim precisely at the head. The cardioid capsule captures the transient snap and tone of the source in detail while rejecting off-axis spill from the rest of the kit, and it takes 147 dB peaks without breaking up.
The gooseneck and integrated shock mount let you set the exact angle and keep mechanical noise out of the signal. It runs on 12 to 48V phantom power and feeds a 3-pin XLR; frequency response is 40 to 20,000 Hz. It ships with the MZH 908 D dual mounting clip, an MZA 900 P phantom power adapter, and a carrying pouch.
