RCF NX 985-A Three-Way Active Speaker

The NX 985-A is a three-way active speaker built for bands, DJs, clubs and rental companies who need full-range output from a single cabinet. A 15-inch woofer, an 8-inch neodymium midrange and a 1.75-inch neodymium compression driver run off a tri-amped 2100W Class-D amplifier (1400W LF, 500W MF, 200W HF), reaching 138 dB SPL across 40 Hz to 20 kHz.

FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control DSP keep the response flat and the phase coherent across all three bands, and a soft limiter protects the drivers under sustained rental use. IP-rated PowerCON TRUE1 TOP in/out connectors handle power, and the 45 kg cabinet can run stand-alone, flown, coupled with a second NX 985-A, or combined with an RCF SUB 8008-AS subwoofer.
