An 8-foot tube throws light everywhere unless something narrows it, and this is the grid built for that job. Pre-stretched fireproof fabric over a stainless steel frame gives it a semi-rigid shape that holds without poles or a speed ring, and it attaches straight to the Rainbow 2 body on touch-fasteners. The 40 degree cell narrows the beam and kills the spill that would otherwise land on a wall behind your subject.
