A swamp box is the platform a distro box sits on so that standing water, mud or a hosed-down street never reaches the connectors. The traditional version is a plywood box that soaks up whatever it is protecting against and eventually rots. This one is molded from a mix of virgin and recycled polypropylene, so it does not absorb water and it does not delaminate.

The design nests, which is the part that matters to anyone storing a stack of them in a truck or a cage: they stack into each other rather than each one taking a box's worth of shelf. About 30 percent of the plastic is recycled content.
