QSC LS118 Active Line Array Subwoofer
The LS118 runs a purpose-built 18 inch long-excursion direct-radiating driver off a 4000 W peak Class D amplifier module, reaching 138 dB peak SPL with QSC's Acoustic Linear Phase design for clean time alignment against the LA108 or LA112 tops it is built to pair with. Two or more LS118s can run in a cardioid arrangement to push low end forward and cut unwanted energy off the sides and rear of the stage.
Daisy-chain connections carry analog audio, networked Dante digital audio, and PowerCON TRUE1 AC power from box to box, so a subwoofer array needs only one feed in and one cable to the next unit. It deploys with an array frame or ground-stack adapter alongside the LA line array modules, and the QSC SysNav app configures and monitors the whole system from a laptop or tablet.
