QSC AD-C81Tw AcousticDesign Ceiling Mount Subwoofer
The AD-C81Tw supplements a ceiling or surface-mount AcousticDesign system with low-frequency extension below 40 Hz, using an 8 inch polypropylene cone woofer with a synthetic rubber surround and a large port for output without turbulence. A built-in passive 120 Hz low-pass filter is defeatable from the front baffle for use with outboard crossovers.
The input cup is mounted on the side of the enclosure to cut down on the vertical clearance an installer needs, with a conduit attachment point and a knockout for daisy-chain wiring. It ships with C-rings and tile rails, and a 70/100V transformer with an 8 ohm bypass matches it into any distributed AD Series system.
