Protection Racket 9028-00 Hardware Sheath - 28 in

A hardware sheath is the piece most kits are missing. Cymbal stands, boom arms and a hi-hat go into a hardware case as a loose bundle, and by the third gig the chrome is scratched and the case lining is torn where a wing nut caught it. This is the 28in size, catalogue number 9028-00: a single drawstring sleeve that swallows a folded stand and keeps it separated from everything else in the bag.

It is the shortest of four lengths Protection Racket makes, alongside the 38, 47 and 54in sheaths, so a mixed set of stands can be sleeved individually by height rather than forced into one oversized bag. The sleeve is light enough that a handful of them cost nothing in weight, and the drawstring closes over the top so nothing slides out when the case goes on its side.
