Suzuki 1072 Folkmaster 10-Hole Diatonic Harmonica
The Folkmaster is the harmonica Suzuki has built the longest, and the one most players in the catalogue started on. Ten holes, twenty notes, phosphor bronze reeds seated in an ABS comb under a sculptured stainless steel cover. Phosphor bronze holds tuning better than the brass used in cheaper instruments, which is most of why a Folkmaster survives being carried in a pocket for a decade.
It measures 101 x 26 x 20 mm and weighs 65 g, or 102 g in the hard shell case that ships with it. Pick the key you need from the list; a working player usually wants C first, then A and G, which cover most folk and blues material in first and second position.
