Pliant Technologies PHS-LAVPTT-DM
The PHS-LAVPTT-DM is the push-to-talk version of Pliant's discreet MicroCom rig, pairing a clip-on lavalier microphone and a clear acoustic eartube with an inline PTT button. The omnidirectional condenser electret capsule clips to your collar and picks up your voice from any head position, while the coiled clear tube feeds audio into the ear almost invisibly, which is why this style suits presenters, security, and on-camera crew who cannot wear a boom. The inline button lets you keep the mic muted and key it only when you need to talk.
A single dual-mini 3.5 mm TRRS plug connects it to any MicroCom beltpack, carrying the mic, the earpiece, and the PTT signal on one lead. The whole assembly weighs just 1.8 oz and runs 62.2 in from clip to connector, so there is enough length to route the cable under clothing. It ships with the headset and two replacement earbud tips.
