Pliant MicroCom 900XR All-in-One Wireless Headset

The MicroCom 900XR wireless headset puts the radio inside the headset. There is no beltpack on the belt, no cable down the back, and nothing to snag on a truss or a dolly track, which is the whole point for camera operators, stage managers and anyone working in a crowd. The earcups and the flip-up muting microphone come from Pliant's SmartBoom PRO, so the noise isolation and the mute-by-lifting-the-boom habit carry straight over, and the 900 MHz MicroCom XR radio underneath keeps the range and the full-duplex audio of the beltpack system.

Both models use an internal antenna and a field replaceable battery: the single-ear runs 7 hours, the dual-ear carries two batteries for 14. They talk to the same two-channel MicroCom 900XR beltpacks, so a crew can mix all-in-one headsets and traditional beltpacks on one system and give each role whichever suits it. The frame is light and adjustable for a full day, and the headsets collapse for the case at the end of it. The PBT-HSXRC66 drop-in charger takes the whole headset without pulling the battery, plus six spare batteries alongside.
