PrimeLight Design VoxBox Air Folding, Travel-ready Mirror Box
The VoxBox Air is PrimeLight's folding mirror box for down-the-lens interviews, built to travel rather than live rigged on a truck. It works the same way as the rest of the VoxBox line: a beamsplitter sits at an angle in front of the lens so the interviewer, seated to the side, is seen by the subject while the camera shoots straight through the glass, so the finished interview reads as though the subject is looking directly at the audience.
The body folds flat for transport and rigs back up in under two minutes without tools, mounting to existing 15mm rails or, with the included adaptor, to a plain light stand. A 4x4 and 4x5.65 inch filter tray sits at the lens plane for ND or diffusion, and the same tablet holder that mounts a script also turns the box into a standalone teleprompter. It ships in a padded carry case sized for location work.
