Park P75 Classic (1969)

The P75 is the most powerful amp in the Park plexi line. It comes out of the same Fender Tweed Bassman lineage as the early Park 45s and 50s, pushed as far as the format goes: 50 watts clean and 90 watts fully cranked. A pair of KT88s does that work, and the KT88 is the reason for the amp's character - detailed and robust, but still tight and percussive, with noticeably more bottom end than the EL34 amps standing next to it.

That combination of headroom and low end is why it has a reputation as a pedal platform: there is room in front of it for drives and fuzzes to do their job without the amp already sitting at its limit. Four inputs into two channels let you run either channel on its own or blend the two, and PPIMV (Post Phase Inverter Master Volume) is standard, so the amp still produces a full sound with the master pulled well back. A push-pull mid boost applies to both channels at once.
