Panasonic Lumix S5IIX Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera
The Lumix S5IIX is the video-first version of the S5II: same 24.2 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and phase hybrid autofocus, with the recording ceiling raised. It records 3:2 open gate 6K (5952 x 3968) at 200 Mbps in H.265, 5.8K Apple ProRes 422 HQ internally at 1939 Mbps, and raw over HDMI, so a single take can be reframed for horizontal and vertical delivery without a second setup.
The body takes L-Mount glass and writes to two SD slots, both UHS-II with Video Speed Class 90 support. Framing is handled by a 3.68 million dot OLED viewfinder and a 3.0-inch 1.84 million dot touchscreen. It weighs approximately 740g with battery and one card. Wired and wireless IP streaming are built in, and connecting a DMW-XLR1 or DMW-XLR2 adaptor unlocks high-resolution audio recording. Body, 20-60mm, twin-lens and 24-60mm Adventure Kit configurations are listed.
